Embodied existence
Cognitive Ecology: The Human
To be merely born is not enough.
We are constantly asked to justify our existence through optimization, efficiency, and productivity.
Caught in the whirlwind of progress, we forget that we are living beings.
But nature doesn’t ask about the meaning of existence. To exist is to have meaning.
Our moral compass is guided by our framework of reference.
But frameworks change.
What makes us human doesn’t.
🜃
You cannot purchase a meaningful existence.
You cannot manufacture a meaningful existence.
You can only live a meaningful existence.
🜃
Being alive and experiencing the world as an individual is the precious gift of being born.
Embodied existence is a manifestation of life in this universe—it is unique, irreversible, and unrepeatable.
You get only one chance to be you.
🜃
We think, therefore we are.
We think, therefore our reality exists.
🜃
Our creative energy waits to be engaged, to embrace our embodied existence, to express who we are into the world.
🜃
There is nothing new under the sun.
Everything has been done before.
But not by you in your life that you live right now for the first and perhaps the last time.
